Meet Kirstin Hannah, PhD. 

Coach | Scientist | Athlete | Wife | Dog-mum

Meet Kirstin, a dynamic force in the world of jump rope. With five World Jump Rope Championships under her belt and a track record of setting National Records, Kirstin is not only a fierce competitor but also a passionate advocate for the sport's growth and creativity. Currently serving as the Coaching Director for Skipping Australia, Kirstin has held key roles including President of Skipping Queensland, an IJRU-accredited judge, and a Co-creator of the Power of 21 Jump Rope Program. As the former Team Captain of the Southern Crosses, Kirstin and her team won multiple World Championship titles and World Records between 2006 and 2010. 

Beyond her accomplishments in jump rope, Kirstin is a seasoned Sport Scientist with a PhD in Energetics, contributing to numerous applied sport science research projects, athlete performances and student experiences. Her expertise led her to serve as the Team Physiologist for multiple Australian Junior Teams and international altitude camps with Australian Olympic Athletes and Coaches.

In 2023, Kirstin made a triumphant comeback after 13 years of 'retirement', leveraging her wealth of knowledge to achieve new personal bests. Join Kirstin as she continues to shape the future of jump rope and inspire others to reach new heights in sport.
